Previous Western students who have not been enrolled for one or more quarters (excluding summer) need to reapply for admission as a returning student.  The Academic Advising & Student Achievement Center is here to assist you with academic planning for your return. Returning students should also plan to connect with their academic department advisor for their intended major/minor.

Students who left Western due to an academic dismissal will need to petition for reinstatement. The Academic Advising & Student Achievement Center is your resource for this process and can assist you with building a plan and petition.

Students who are undeclared and have 105 or more credits will be supported by the Academic Advising & Student Achievement Center to ensure they are on track with declaring a major. Students are communicated directly with via their WWU email and can learn more about the process by visiting the Advising Holds webpage.
