Research/Teaching Interests: My research focuses on media studies and critical/cultural studies. I investigate how race/ethnicity, gender, nationality, and other intersecting identities are represented in popular media.

Hobbies/Interests: I love to read; walk with/hang out with my dog, Estrella; watch TV; ballroom dance; and crochet
