Navigate360: Training and Support

New User Training

Please visit the Getting Started section and follow the steps outlined. Once your supervisor or department leader has approved the e-sign form, you will receive an invitation to attend the training session in a few days.  

New User Training is also recommended for those who already have access to Navigate360 but do not remember how to use it. Please reach out to navigate.help@wwu.edu if you fit this description. 

Refresher Training

If you participated in New User Training in the past but have not really explored or used Navigate360 since then, Refresher Training is not recommended. Please reach out to navigate.help@wwu.edu to request New User Training again.  

Refresher Trainings are designed for those who: 

  1. Already received New User Training 
  2. Sometimes use Navigate360 or use basic functionalities only 
  3. Would like to learn how to use Navigate360 to manage student outreach 

By the end of the training, the participant will be able to: 

  • Identify parts of the Student Profile 
  • Document an interaction using Appointment Summary and Note 
  • Perform outreach using Advanced Search 
  • Manage outreach using Lists & Saved Items

Availabilities are limited. If there are no availabilities on the booking site or if these dates or times do not work for you, please reach out to navigate.help@wwu.edu and someone will arrange a separate training for you.

New Functionalities Training

The Appointment Campaigns functionality is now available for all users. Appointments Campaign helps you perform outreach to specific student populations and encourage them to schedule appointments with you. Outreach attempts, scheduling, and tracking of communication and appointments can all be efficiently managed in one place.

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to:

  1. Organize appointments by syncing Outlook and Navigate360 calendars
  2. Schedule appointments by setting up My Availability
  3. Organize outreach by setting up an Appointment Campaign
  4. Track and manage appointments using the Appointment Campaign dashboard

Prerequisites:

  • Access to Navigate360
  • Knowledge of how to use basic features covered in the Beginner’s Guide such as using Advanced Search and creating lists of students

Self-paced training is available in the Navigate360 Knowledge Base Canvas course for anyone who has a Navigate360 account. If you would like to request live training, please reach out to navigate.help@wwu.edu.
